America was a region on Terra, it was the family domain of House Washington, one of the Houses Major of the First Empire.[1] The ruler of America possibly bore the title of King. One such known King was King George.
In 14608 BG, the city of Madrid became the Imperial Seat of the First Empire, after discoveries in America ended the Great Struggle or the "Century without an Emperor" since the retreat to Byzantium during 14700 BG.
In 14255 BG, House Washington used two of the first atomics to settle a trade dispute with the rival House Nippon,[1] marking the first use of atomics in interprovincial war.[2] House Nippon was forced to concede the lucratic pacific trade routes to House Washington, and the possession of the (at the time) only atomics in the world gave King George the prestige and power needed to displace House Windsor as the Imperial House.[1] King George became the first emperor of House Washington[1] and the imperial capital was moved to his seat, Washington.[2] However, by the end of the Golden Age of Invention in 14200 BG, Despite the efforts and counterespionage directorates of King George, the method of creating atomics was soon discovered by several other Houses Major and Minor in the empire.[1]
Behind the scenes
The story of House Washington's rise to power in the First Empire is a garbled account (because of the many millennia that have passed since) of the end of World War II and the rise of the United States to a global superpower. In terms of a real historical figure, "King George" corresponds to President Harry S. Truman, though his name appears to be taken from the Founding Father George Washington (or perhaps the British King George III).
