Target -dummies were training machines for blade-fighting. They had vaguely the appearance of foot soldiers and could either be steered from a control-panel or run on automatic.Though they were able to react and distract their human opponent, they were not considered robots or thinking machines but only servoks imitating animal-like instincts from servomotors and complex reflector circuits.
